We were ecstatic and honored to be chosen as a finalist team in Venture Cup’s Startup competition 2015. Being a finalist meant that we had to go through a 2-day pitch camp where we practiced body language, rhetorics, selling points and other pitch techniques. Talented business experts and keynote speakers also taught us more about business plans and financial structures. Overall the two days on the camp have been fun and useful and we have met a lot of other talented start up businesses.
The actual finals took place on the 19th of June 2015. We made a 4 minute pitch in front of six judges from the cleantech market. After pitching our idea and business plan we networked and celebrated Venture Cup’s 15th anniversary.
Unfortunately we did not win the competition, but the experience and the contacts we established was priceless.
